The first time she saw him, only one thought came to mind. He looks like he was built into that armor.Her opinion of him changed as days became weeks became months. And when the set was complete and his oath cool in the air instead of on his tongue, the armor was sealed. And over time, instead of growing with him, it rusted into nothing short of a trap. With years and with every failed Harrowing and with every fresh Tranquil and with every word of a Great War, the armor grew tighter and tighter.Smashing the belts holding his chestplate stationary was beyond her talents. Casting his helmet aside and clearing his hindered vision would prove impossible. Even removing his gauntlets, a challenge.But he showed no desire to free himself.In truth, she didn’t think he even considered himself a prisoner.
